A D-5 is a 5 inch bucktail with a size 5 blade and 1 to 2 ties.

Due to the size of this tail, it's great for early to mid season and made for shallow water and weed beds. A French blade can give a fast or slow retrieve and a Colorado blade can give a mid to fast retrieve.

A D-6 is a 6 inch bucktail with a size 6 blade and 2 to 3 ties.

This is about a 7 inch bucktail with size 7 blade and 2 to 3 ties.

A French blade makes this tail run fast over weedbeds and shallow water at fast retrieve. It has one single treble or a single siwish hook. A #8 Colorado blade gives this tail more lift and bulging at the surface. A #7 Fluted blade makes this tail run about a foot and has a medium retrieve.
